This workshop is perfect for beginners as well as students who enjoy reminder updates and review techniques who are familiar with a Paleo approach to grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, low carb, high protein cooking. We will be covering the foundations of healthy cooking as well as helpful cooking tools. As always we will be sampling tasty new dishes and reviewing some fast and easy prep options. Students receive copies of all recipes for the class.

Directions: 71/I-49 South to 307th St. exit. Go west (right) 5 miles to stop sign. Turn right onto Hickory Grove Rd. In about 1 mile the road curves to the right. Take the first immediate driveway on the right (across the road from the one room school house).
From Louisburg take 2 Hwy. east to D Hwy and go south to W Hwy. Go left (east) all the way to O Hwy. Turn right on O back to W Hwy. Go left until coming to stop sign. Go left onto Hickory Grove Road for 1 mile. As road curves, take the first immediate driveway on the right (across the road from the one room school house).

Our Healthy Cooking Workshop will be held at the Cass Career Center on Thursday, September 11th, 6pm – 8pm. This session we will celebrate with our healthy versions of delicious healthy Mexican favorites! Samples will include beef nachos, tilapia baja tacos, pork carnita, and chicken enchiladas. We will also sample two healthy dessert recipes and of course, healthy, virgin margarita’s. All recipes are gluten free, grain free, soy free, dairy free, low carb, and paleo friendly.
